Built stdnotes as a local-first note system combining rich text, Markdown, and canvas editors in a single offline-first web app. The technical challenge was designing reliable browser-side persistence with IndexedDB, optional cloud sync, export pipelines, and seamless transitions between offline and synced states without requiring users to create an account before using the app.
