Ramadan Challenge 2026

This is not just a hackathon, it is a real-world product challenge that tests your ability to build, ship, and grow something people actually use.

Every project in this challenge must be themed around your local mosque. No matter where you are in Malaysia (KL, Cyberjaya, Penang, Johor, Sabah, Sarawak), you pick the mosque you attend or the one nearest to you, and you build for that community.

This approach means:

• Every project is grounded in a real, local community, not abstract or generic
• Participants naturally have a built-in user base (their own mosque community) for the growth phase
• Different mosques across Malaysia get their own digital tools, making the challenge a nationwide effort
• The product you build can serve your mosque long after Ramadan ends

Why We Include a Growth Phase

Building is only half the challenge. The Growth Phase exists because we believe the best developers can also ship and prove demand.

You are not being asked to run a marketing campaign — you are being asked to and get as many people as you can to try it.
