🌸 EVENT RECAP — Girls Only AI Vibe Coding Session 👩🏻💻✨
Last night, we had an amazing session with the girls at Kracked Devs for our Girls Only AI Vibe Coding Session!
The goal was simple: to show complete beginners that you don’t need years of coding experience to start building something useful with AI.
Together with Mia, I had the opportunity to walk participants through the process of using AI to build a website — from turning an idea into a working concept, understanding what AI generates, to actually putting the pieces together.
👩🏻💻 What we explored:
• How AI can help beginners start building websites
• Turning an idea into a website concept
• Understanding the basic structure behind a website
• Using AI as a development assistant rather than simply copying generated code
• Building something practical, such as a portfolio or personal landing page
🔐 A little cybersecurity perspective
I also shared a different perspective from my side — security should be part of the website-building process, not something we think about only after the website is finished.
Even as a beginner, there are simple things you can start thinking about:
• What information are you putting on your website?
• Are you exposing sensitive information?
• Are the links and forms you’re using trustworthy?
• What happens to information submitted through your website?
• Are you blindly trusting AI-generated code?
You don’t have to be a cybersecurity expert to start building securely. Sometimes, it starts with simply asking the right security questions.
Most importantly, I hope everyone left the session feeling that “I can actually build this.” 🌸
