KrackedDev is a community-driven platform for Malaysian developers to level up, build in public, and connect with opportunities. We combine elements of social networking, gamification, project showcases, and career opportunities to create an ecosystem where growth is rewarded.

Yes! Joining the KrackedDev community, participating in discussions, showcasing projects, and applying for bounties is completely free for all developers.

Guilds are community groups within KrackedDev (e.g., student tech clubs, developer communities). You can affiliate with a Guild to participate in their events and increase your Guild's visibility. Every member also receives a unique Referral Code to invite others, climb the Referral Leaderboard, and earn recognition.

You can level up by interacting with the KrackedDev platform. Here is the current XP reward system:

Community & Knowledge
• Daily Login: +10 XP (Every 24h)
• Answer Accepted: +100 XP (As the answerer)
• Accepting an Answer: +20 XP (As the question author)
• Upvote Received: +5 XP per upvote

Development & Open Source
• GitHub Contribution: +5 XP per day (for any commit/activity synced)
• Bounty Submission: +20 XP
• Bounty Honorable Mention: +50 XP (Approved but not winner)
• Bounty Win: Base 100 XP + Bonus based on reward value (Reward / 10)
• Community Poll Vote: +10 XP

Progression Bonuses
• Profile Completion: +30 XP
• Login Streaks:

7 Days: +50 XP
30 Days: +200 XP
90 Days: +500 XP

EXP determine your Level, which reflects your expertise and standing in the community. Our progression follows an exponential curve: Level = floor(sqrt(XP / 100)) + 1.

Level Milestones:
• Level 2: 100 XP
• Level 3: 400 XP
• Level 4: 900 XP
• Level 5: 1,600 XP

Higher levels will unlock special badges, early access to new features, and increased visibility for your profile to potential employers and collaborators.

By default, all members who complete the onboarding process are discoverable on the platform. This allows potential employers and collaborators to view your profile, showcases, and contributions within the network.

KrackedDev features an AI Answer Assistant to help you solve tough questions in the community, and Instant Translation to help you communicate in multiple languages including English, Malay, and Chinese.

The AI Answer Assistant is a premium community tool. To maintain quality and prevent abuse, it requires Level 3 (400 XP) to unlock. Keep contributing to the community to reach this milestone!

Yes, we implement a multi-layer system to ensure fair access:

Rate Limits: There are hourly and daily caps on AI requests.
Cooldowns: To prevent rapid-fire requests, there is a short wait time (e.g., 2 minutes for answers, 30 seconds for translations) between uses.
Caching: If a piece of content has already been translated, it is served instantly from our cache without using your rate limit.
