Every member has a card, printed once and kept as issued. Cards come in sets, sets come in print runs, and the look of a print is its treatment. There is no way to buy or request any of it. Here is how it works, and how SET 01 was derived.
A set is one print run with a rule for who gets a card. A print is one issued card: your card as it stood on the print date, frozen, with a serial and a treatment. Once printed a card never changes, and a card that was not printed does not exist. Your prints live in the binder on your profile, with your newest member set print as the face.
SET 01 is the base set. Every member who had completed onboarding on the print date got one SET 01 print, and every member who completes onboarding after it gets theirs at that moment. SET 01 stays open, so it has no run size and its serial carries a code instead of a number out of a total. SET 01 is also the one set that chose its treatment from the card: OPERATIVE printed standard, RARE printed holo and LEGENDARY printed full art.
From SET 02 on, a member set prints once a month to a fixed run. Eligible means an account in good standing with at least one XP event in the 30 days before the print date. The pick is a seeded shuffle of the eligible members; the top of the shuffle, as many as the run, gets a print. The seed and the eligible count are published on the set page once it prints, so anyone can replay the pick. A set may hand some of its prints a better treatment by a second seeded pull; that rule is written on the set page in plain words. Nothing in the pick reads your stats.
Rarity is the treatment of a print and the size of its run, never a number on the card. Five treatments exist.
Every print carries a serial in its footer. In a closed set it reads the set, the print's number in the run, the run size, then a check code. The number comes from a seeded shuffle of the run, never from the order members joined. A SET 01 serial carries a code in place of the number, since the set has no run. The check code means a serial typed or guessed by hand does not resolve. A serial opens the card at /cards/ followed by the serial, with a PNG and a link preview that never change.
SET 01 printed your live dev card as it stood on the print date. Everything below is that derivation: the tier word on the chip, the title under your name, and what the face shows. A later set does not read any of it for its treatment. SET 01 did, once.
The chip under the title. Your card takes the highest tier you qualify for. Nothing decays. Once a tier is earned it stays, and on a print it is frozen.

The line under your name. You get the first one you match, reading top to bottom, so it shows the strongest thing you have done. Titles are shared classes, not unique to one member.
Everything on the face comes from real activity: XP, badges, bounty wins, approved showcase projects, all-time XP rank and contribution streaks. Your level comes from your XP. The number in the top right is a power score, a weighted total of the same signals. It is there to be read, and nothing on the platform is gated on it.
The bottom corner carries the serial of the print. A card that has not been printed yet carries an opaque mark there instead; neither reveals when you joined or how many members there are.
